Chapter Director - Kimberly Miller

A native of Lodi, Wisconsin, I relocated to Memphis in the Spring of 2017.  Although in the area for only a short time, the Ghost River Chapter has welcomed me into their group with open arms and warm hearts!

I first got turned on to motorcycles in 2008 while stationed in San Diego and have been riding ever since.  I started out with a gorgeous 2005 Sportster named “Mattie”.  I traded up to “Annie”, a 2003 Anniversary Fat Boy in 2012 while stationed in Gaeta, Italy.  I was fortunate to have been a Charter member of the Naples Military HOG Chapter there and was able to travel the entire country (and some others too!) via motorcycle.  From there, I transferred to Carlisle PA where I served as a Road Captain in the Cumberland Valley HOG Chapter.  Once in Memphis, and after 50K miles on my beloved Fat Boy, I took the leap and bought my 2017 Street Glide, “Caramel Sizzle” named for the way her paint pops when riding under street lights.

I served in the US Navy as a Human Resources Officer for 30+ years and retired in April 2019.  I’m excited to be able to serve as the 2020 Ghost River HOG Director and look forward to lots of Dealer Events, Chapter Rides, Fellowship, and Camaraderie in the coming year.  GRH is a great group of people, and I’m blessed to have ended up here in Memphis and been welcomed into this fantastic group of people!  I’m fortunate that retirement has now allowed me to serve GRH in a much larger capacity, and look forward to a spectacular 2020 riding season of making memories!!!

Assistant Director - Paul Koehler
I am the Assistant Director this year for the Ghost River HOG chapter. I have been riding motorcycles for 50 plus years starting out on a Honda Scrambler and moving up through many bikes to my current one - a 2016 CVO Street Guide. I have been active in GRH as a Charter member since Oct 2007 when we were given the opportunity to start a new chapter. I have previously been Director, Assistant Director, Membership officer, Activities officer and Head Road Captain. We are hoping that this year will again be the best year ever with lots of great riding with some really wonderful people.
Treasurer - Glenn Neal

I have been riding a motorcycle of some kind for 50+ years---on the road—in the dirt—on the sand—and in 2005 back on the road on a Harley out in California.  Like many, my adventure started on a Sportster, which lasted for a very short time before moving up to something more comfortable and appropriate for longer distance rides with myself and my wife.  I was actively involved in our local HOG chapter in southern California as well as being instrumental in starting an American Legion Rider chapter at our local American Legion Post.  I participated in many Patriot Guard missions and the Run for the Wall Mission, to honor our fallen heroes.

We relocated to Tennessee in 2013 and sought out the local HOG chapter, where we became members of Ghost River Hog.  I have thoroughly enjoyed the backroads of Tennessee and the surrounding states as we have participated in the many activities of our chapter.

I am honored to serve as the GRH Treasurer for this year.

Secretary - Victory Neal

My Husband and I relocated to Memphis from Temecula, California in 2013.  We have embraced riding the scenic backroads of the mid-south when weather permits.  After searching for a HOG Chapter, we were blessed to find Ghost River Hog.  The members made us feel welcome from the first meeting we attended and treated us as family from the beginning.

I have always said I have a Harley and I have a driver!  I have been a passenger on our Harleys since 2004. We have ridden from coast to coast which included 26 states.   I have been an active Hog member in the past including serving as LOH coordinator for 4 years and Historian for 2 years with our previous HOG Chapter and a member of American Legion Riders for 6 years.  I am honored to serve as secretary for Ghost River Hog Chapter for 2020.   I look forward to an awesome year that we have planned for 2020 of great riding with my Ghost River Hog Chapter family where it is always a fun adventure!

Membership/Activities - Dan Dolny
I'm the 2020 Ghost River HOG Membership Officer, this is my twelth year serving as an officer, previously I have been Head Road Captain, Secretary, Activities (several times), Safety, Photographer, Assistant Director, and Director.

I have loved every minute of my involvement with this fun group of Harley Davidson enthusiasts, it’s a wonderful family.

Unlike many here I am relatively new to motorcycling, riding since 2005 and it has turned into a major passion. I started with a 1200 Custom Sportster, then a Road King, and now own a gorgeous 2012 Road Glide Ultra with over 85,000 miles.

I have ridden over 120,000 miles in nine plus years and have traveled all over the southeast. Additionally, I rode toSturgis in 2010 and to NYC, Boston and Portland, ME in 2013, Niagra Falls and New England in 2017, Milwaukee a couple times, and completed an Iron Butt in 2014.

I am an MSF certified rider coach for Bumpus, I enjoy sharing the riding passion with new riders.

We also have a lot of great rides and activities planned for this year, come ride and have fun with Ghost River HOG!
Activities - Annette Koehler

I am the Activities officer with Dan Dolny this year. I have been riding a Harley since 2004 after I married Paul who encouraged me to become a Harley rider. I bought my first Harley - a Sportster and since then I have also had a Deluxe and now a 2015 Street Glide. I am a Charter member in Ghost River HOG and have served as Director, Assistant Director, Secretary, Treasurer, LOH and activities. I am proud to be involved again with my second family - GRHC.

Photographer/Editor - Mike Zdancewicz

I’m happy to be this year’s editor/photographer after being sthe treasurer last year, secretary the year before that and director for the two years prior to that.

I rode minibikes when I was a kid. My first real bike was a Honda CB750F back in 1980. I’ve had a couple of Sportsters and a couple of fantastic VRod Muscles. I’m the resident VRod fanatic in the chapter.

I was born and raised in Memphis, played football from ‘73-’77 for the Memphis State Tigers. I got my degree in electrical engineering and moved to Katy, TX (a Houston suburb). I spent 19 years in Katy/Houston before moving to Singapore for 7-1/2 years. I came back to Memphis in 2006. I work here in Collierville as a business analyst in I.T. for a major shipping company.

I’m also a MSF Rider Coach, helping riders learn how to ride better and safer.

2020 will be another great year for Ghost River!

Head Road Captain/Webmaster - Dave Ferguson

After being away from motorcycling for many years I decided to get back in the saddle, so in 2012 right after I bought my first Harley, a used Road King, I joined Ghost River HOG. My parents always stressed to me that when you join something that you should get involved as you will get more out of it. So I became a road captain in my first year with the club and have been involved ever since. I was an Activities Officer in 2013, Assistant Director in 2014 and  Head Road Captain in 2015 & 2017. In 2016 I was only involved with the club as a road captain because I was also serving as the Registration Coordinator for the HOG rally that was held in Memphis that year.

For the last two years I was the Director and after recruiting Kim to the Director's chair I agreed to help her by being the Head Road Captain.

I am also a rider coach for Bumpus Harley-Davidson in Memphis and enjoy working with others who also want to experience the joy of riding a motorcycle. I am proud to continue on with my involvement with the chapter this year and I look forward to another great year of riding with the Ghost River HOG family.

Head Road Captain/ROMEO Ride Coordinator - Murry Bailey
It seems like I've always owned motorcycles. I delivered newspapers on one in junior high. I rode one in high school and rode to class at Memphis State. I even had one in Thailand while in the USAF. I rode to work many days during my 30 years at ATT. I am now retired, and my wife and I are learning the benefits of a touring bike. We look forward to every ride and social event. I am excited to be working as the Head Road Captain\ROMEO ride coordinator this year. If you have any suggestions on rides or events, let us know. Join us if you want to ride and have fun.
Safety Officer - Vaughn Porter

I am new to the street bike world. I’ve always had motorcycles but they were dirt bikes. It all started with a minibike when I was in kindergarten and ended up with my first street bike in 2018, a 2010 HD Ultra Classic.  About six months later, I sold the Ultra Classic and purchased a 2016 Road Glide Ultra.

After taking the HD riding course I joined Ghost River Hog. GRH has now become family. Being a member of GRH means always having friends to ride with, to eat with and to just enjoy the company of people that have the same passion for riding Harleys.

Since buying my first Harley I have been blessed to ride in 19 states with plans in 2020 to hit many more. I can not think of a better way to see the landscape God has created.

For 2020 I am honored to be the GRH Safety Officer. It is very important that you always think of safety when you ride your Harley.

Dealer Liason - Joe Moscon

Hi, I am Joe D Moscon, the Chapter liaison for the local Bumpus Chapters. By day I am an irrigation & Lighting contractor and that keeps me real busy. We cover 5 state’s, employ some great people and have built an awesome client base.

I got into this position as a labor of love. My love for riding of course which I had done off and on since I was 12. I grew up in the wine country where seeing the Hell’s Angels was a daily occurrence, during the riding seasons. This also inspired my passion for the life style making friends all over the country that share the same passion.

Some ask me WHY Joe are you doing this? That is a simple one for me. After my family, I bleed Red, White, and Blue, then Orange and Black. Being a business owner myself I know the importance of being associated with a strong and loyal supplier. Harley Davidson and Bumpus family of dealership’s, fills all of those needs for me.

I have served in almost every position H.OG. has listed. Along the way I have always taken pride in being a Road Captain. Being in this position affords me the ability to share that experience and help build 2 of the best Chapters in the U.S.

With that said, let’s – “Ride and Have Fun”
